Pleasure Trips

We offer sightseeing pleasure trips normally lasting for 45 minutes, sailing out past the pier and along the shore through East Wear Bay towards Dover with a commentary on local points of interest, current shipping movements in the Dover Straits, local history and any wild life that we may be lucky enough to encounter on route.

The cost to privately pre-book the whole boat for a 45 minute sightseeing trip is £140 and ideal for family groups or for celebrating a special occasion.

For Individuals the cost for a 45 minute sightseeing trip is £20 for Adults & £15 for under 16 years of age (minimum of 4 Adults or £80) and you could be sharing with others on board.

Please note that a maximum of 11 passengers are allowed on board the Folkestone Voyager.

We recommend a minimum of 5 years of age for these sea going trips.

All trips are subject to weather and tidal conditions with trips leaving from the Inner Harbour steps in front of the Grand Burstin Hotel.

Sea Angling

We have been fishing from Folkestone Harbour with over 50 years experience so can offer a great day out Sea Angling.

We operate from a tidal harbour so the start times vary each day.

Please note to allow plenty of space on board for fishing we set a maximum of 8 anglers.

In the summer months we specialise in 5 or 8 hour drift fishing trips over the many shipwrecks in the English Channel and near the Varne Bank.

In the winter months the fish are located closer to the shore so fishing normally takes place anchored inshore off of Folkestone using bait to attract the fish.

2024 Summer prices to hire the whole boat are:-

2 Hour Drift Fishing trip (including rods/reels and set of lures) £235.

5 Hour Wrecking/Drift Fishing trip £340.

8 Hour Wrecking/Drift Fishing trip £475.

Hire of a rod/reel including one set of tackle cost £10/person if required.

2024/25 Winter prices are :-

5 Hour Anchored Fishing trip £290.

8 Hour Anchored Fishing trip £390.
